The father-and-son team at SKH Locksmiths and Security, LLC, brings you both advanced safety and security. Located in Hatboro, PA, we’re a full-service locksmith and security company serving all of Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties with a conveniently located shop and three fully equipped company vans for mobile service.

We’re fully insured, bonded, and CRL. All of our staff have passed performance certifications. We have 100’s of factory-authorized certifications. Family-owned and operated with over 36 years of experience. Sven K. Hellwig Sr., CRL, began locksmithing in 1981 & established SKH Locksmiths and Security, LLC in 1984. Sven K. Hellwig, Jr., joined the business in 2015 and took over as the main auto tech.

Along with our friendly staff, we’ve expanded into all aspects of lock and security. Karen, our office manager, has exceptional knowledge, has been in the industry since 2000, and is the friendly face behind the scenes.

If you’ve lost a motorcycle key and need a new one made from scratch this is your guy. I had 3 other locksmiths that had a “motorcycle speciality” and none of them were able to create a key and just suggested I replace the whole ignition. SKH came out and within 5 mins he was able to create 2 keys for me. The key works in the ignition, gas cap, and the seat lock. Scheduling an appointment was easy, pricing was very fair and he came right to my house. Couldn’t have asked for a better or more professional job.

Sven and his son were fantastic. I am so glad I found skh locksmiths. They were true professionals, and when they came out to do my job, it took a lot less time than expected. Expected. He also charged me a third of what he quoted me. Because of that. There are not too many businesses out there that treat you like family. I will not use another locksmith as long as SKH locksmiths and security are in business. I wish I could give them 10 Stars.

I have been searching around to get my motorcycle key replaced since I've lost it and my motorcycle gas cap was unable to be opened. SKH was the only one of the few that got back to me and gave me a great price. Once I agreed to the price, they came out the next day. I got my keys replaced and gas cap fixed in under one hour. Great work, very professional would call again if I'm in a pinch again.

My son bought a 2000 truck. It came with only one key. It also has a locking top for the backend, which came with no key. I called for an appt and got one for the next day. Sven gave me a price range, which was dependent on if it was a quick fix or more intensive. In the way of life, it was a more complicated job. I was preparing be there an hour which is what it took to complete the job. They did find the door lock is in need of repair. That will take another trip down but will definitely get it squared away.

Sven's your guy....pleasant interaction and very communicative keeping us informed throughout the ordeal. Definitely a hustler because he showed up over 2 hours *early*! We had an old ignition switch from a 1929 Ford Model A that we broke a key off in it. We could not find a replacement part. SHK went above and beyond to fix the ignition switch for us. I gave them another ignition switch that was not correct but they were able to use parts from that to rebuild the original one. They spent far too much time on it and charged too little. I am greatly appreciative to them for doing whatever they had to, to get my piece working again. Highly recommend them for any lock needs. Thank you!
